Hi my name is Gary Palmer II and I'm a senior mechanical engineering major at the University of Maryland. My interest in flexible macroelectronics stems from its future capabilities. The fact that these components can be integrated with everyday objects is fascinating. Since this technology will be used in the future, it will be great to be on the leading edge of its development.

Technologies such as the rollable displays and the RFID tags are products which interest me the most because I have a chance of seeing them within the future. If I can impact something which can be made for people's enjoyment and usage, I don't mind being a part of it. My enthusiasm of new technology started with my dad's intuition, which I was able to see everyday.

Hopefully flexible macroelectronics will be able to be fused with other types of applications. Since I have a desire to work with automobiles in the future, I think I can find a way to squeeze some type of rollable display or digital wall somewhere.
