Simulation blast in soil by Abaqus

Hello;

H am simulate in ABAQUS a blast in soil.

If in Explicit simulate what is interaction define between TNT & soil?

If simulate by CFD , equation *EOS have not want define.

which way is better?

you can use CONWEP in interaction module. CONWEP function enables you to choose amount of used TNT in explosion

Isn't there any way for modelling TNT ?

I think CONWEP is for surface blast. My blast is in underground.

But i think we cannot model TNT in abaqus the way LS-DYNA uses. u just give the amount of equivalant TNT and abaqus handles it
