A postdoctoral research position is available immediately in the Johnson research group at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The position will involve continuum finite element modeling of multiphysics and interfacial phenomena in micro- and nanoscale electronic materials processing applications.

A Ph.D. degree in mechanics; mechanical, electrical, or materials engineering; or physics is required. Familiarity with finite element modeling of electrochemistry, transport phenomena, contact, and/or adhesion problems is desirable. The duration of the position is two years. Applicants should sent a CV, a research statement, and a list of references, as an email attachment in PDF format, to htj@illinois.edu. More information about the research group can be found at http://www.mechse.illinois.edu/johnson.
