Hi All

I am trying to use Shell181 elements to model carbon/epoxy unidirectional composites. When tried to use anisotropic material model ansys wants me to enter coefficients D11 to D21. I am not sure how to calculate the value of these coefficients or where to get their value from. Some help in this regard will be much appreciated. Thank you

I have just started my postgraduation in aerospace composites. I am new to FE of composites and required serious help in learning composite modelling. It will great if someone can help me in starting up. If you know any websites or books which have examples which I can go through to learn modelling of composites, please let me know.
