what is the suitable definition of contact interaction between two deformable 2D part instances in abaqus ?

In modeling of orthigonal machining. it is necessary to define the contact between tool surface and the workpiece. but the region of contact during the simulation change . the tool and workpicece has been simulated as 2D deformable parts. the problem is that what conditions must be considerd to define the suitable contact interaction between two deformable 2D part instances in abaqus? what kindes of surfaces must be define for tool and workpiece? node based, element based or geometry base surface? and how diefine conditions in initial increments to prevent the errors that cause the simulation terminate!?
How to define eulerian region for 2D modeling of orthogonal machining using ALE adaptive mesh constraints?

HI
I am working with abaqus6.8.1. I am interesting to model orthogonal
machining by ALE adaptive remeshing IN 2D. In this way I have a problem.
For modeling of machinig inflow and outflow surfaces(eulerian) with
inflow boundary condithion type velocity(eulerian) must be defined.but
the default definition of surfaces and region or boundary type in abaqus
are lagrangian. I read on user manual that this type must be change to
eulerian.
